About

Who is Felix Prehn?

Felix Nikolas Prehn is an economist and former investment banker turned financial educator. His YouTube channel, Felix & Friends, breaks down money, markets, inflation, and the dollar in long-form videos — dense, data-heavy, and usually 20 to 30 minutes long.

Felix trained in London and Hong Kong and spent his early career in investment banking before leaving to teach. He founded Goat Academy, where former Wall Street and City of London professionals teach everyday investors how the pros think about risk — including a free financial-education programme for U.S. military veterans. He also co-founded TradeVision.io, a stock screening and charting tool, and edits Winston Daily, a one-page daily paper on the markets named after his dog.

Speaking of the dog: Winston, Felix's adopted golden retriever, appears in the videos and is something of a co-host. Felix's own disclaimer, delivered straight to camera:

“I am not a financial advisor. Make your own conclusions.”
